The conversion of an historic property adjacent to a major thoroughfare in downtown Apex is a smashing success for the owner, design team, and Town. Tap Station’s owner created a destination out of the 1950’s era service station with a mix of new and old with creative solutions throughout the project. Peak was involved in the site aspects of the project while incorporating Small Town Character Overlay Standards into the site design and monumentation for the restaurant. The adaptive reuse of the building has truly created a focal point at this location. The 5,300 SF building was a joy to work on and is a huge success for Peak to help save the historic building.
